Step 1 - Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

Support is added for the IDTech SREDKey2 device used to hand key credit card information for telephone orders. This is supported strictly for the Datacap Hosted environment using a Datacap PAN key. The device communicates via USB HID. The device prompts "Swipe Card or Key-in Card Number:" or it prompts "Credit Card Number:". Today, we support only a keyed card number and expiration date. The device also prompts for the 3-digit or 4-digit CVV value with the prompt "Secure Code:" This is an optional entry. And the device prompt for "Zip Code". This is also an optional entry. Magnetic stripe input is currently not supported.

  • Support is added for the PAX attended devices for Heartland Portico following the completion of a recent certification. These devices are supported with Voltage PAN encryption.
  • Support is added for the IDTech VP6800 unattended device for First Data Rapid Connect. It supports TDES DUKPT PAN encryption for First Data. This device was recently certified with First Data (Fiserv).
  • When using the EMV US Client Test app, there is an option to request a Cardholder ID as part of the response from the Hosted platform. This request is now for Cardholder ID “Version 2”. When the check box is ticked, the XML included in the request is Allow_V2.
  • Previous versions of dsiEMVUS supported “Suggestive TIP” prompting for Ingenico and PAX devices. Suggestive TIP prompting is now added for Verifone devices. This includes the P200, P400, M400 and VX805 devices. For Verifone devices, only 3 choices can be displayed for Suggestive TIP prompts rather than 4 for Ingenico and PAX devices. The ISV can supply 3 or 4 choices for Verifone, but only 3 will be displayed. For VX805 devices, the length of each choice to be displayed must be no longer than 12 characters. For the other Verifone devices, the length of each choice can be up to 16 characters.

This NETePay is available via the NETePay 5 Director which provides a simplified installation process and go-forward automatic software updates. NETePay 5 Director is recommended but if needed the classic installation process is still available by clicking Download as usual.

  • Support is added for EVO SNAP host messaging version 2.1.36. EVO fixed an issue for EMV chip card ZeroAuth transactions.
  • Support is added for Incremental Authorization and Partial Reversal transactions for credit cards. One or more Incremental Auths may follow a PreAuth transaction. This can be followed by a single Partial Reversal. And finally, a PreAuthCapture is used to finalize the payment.
  • An EMV brand certification was completed for PAX devices.

New build released 4/29/22

  • Latest EMV CAPKs included. Removed one CAPK for UnionPay.
  • PreAuth/EMVPreAuth and PreAuthCapture/PreAuthCaptureByRecordNo, NETePay now allows the purchase amount to be changed on the PreAuthCapture/PreAuthCaptureByRecordNo if the PreAuth purchase amount is supplied in the <OriginalAuthorized> tag. If the purchase amount is not changed, then the <OriginalAuthorized> tag is not required. No changes for ISVs who do not change the purchase amount. When the purchase amount is changed and the <OriginalAuthorized> tag is sent, the purchase amount may be increased or decreased.
