Step 1 - Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

  • The ProcessEasyCheckout method no longer has a timeout. This is because the CardDataCollection Directive in EasyCheckout does not have a timeout.

This NETePay is available via the NETePay 5 Director which provides a simplified installation process and go-forward automatic software updates. NETePay 5 Director is recommended but if needed the classic installation process is still available by clicking Download as usual.

  • The EMV Support parameter now includes the choice for “Debit Only”. This is for the Cannabis market. The implementation is identical to TSYS and First Data Rapid Connect where Debit Only is also an option. When this option is chosen, the Visa and Mastercard credit AIDs are not loaded into the PIN pad device.
  • The PrePaid Cashout transaction is allowed to pass through the Hosted Bridge to the gateway.
  • This version is built with the latest version of the Store & Forward library (8.10) and the Local Batch Reporting library (2.30).
  • When Multiple Merchant Provisioning is available via PSCS, this version of the Hosted Bridge will allow the Merchant ID to be passed through from the POS. When Multiple Merchant Provisioning is enabled, the Merchant ID parameter will be ignored. When disabled, the Merchant ID parameter value will be sent to the gateway.
