Step 1 - Install Client Control

In order to communicate with this NETePay your POS may use one of the following ActiveX controls depending on the integration method chosen by the POS developer. If you are unsure of which to install please contact POS technical support.

  • The IDTech VP6300 is supported for Hosted and for First Data Rapid Connect. This is an unattended device similar to the VP6800, however it does not support PIN entry and therefore does not support Debit. It supports Credit Only and No CVM. The EMV contact configuration for this device is 4C. It supports chip and contactless for all major credit cards. EMV chip fallback to MSR is currently not supported. We are waiting on an IDTech firmware fix for fallback. If fallback is attempted, an "Unable to parse Decrypted Card Data" error will be returned.
  • For Ingenico devices, the following new TranCodes are supported … GetYesNo and GetMultipleChoice. dsiEMVUS looks for a new Ingenico form “PAY1EX.K3Z” for GetMultipleChoice. If the form does not exist on the device, it uses the original “PAY1.K3Z” form.

This NETePay is available via the NETePay 5 Director which provides a simplified installation process and go-forward automatic software updates. NETePay 5 Director is recommended but if needed the classic installation process is still available by clicking Download as usual.

  • Support for Ingenico EMV unattended devices is added. This includes the iUC285 and iUP250 devices.
  • Quick Chip and PIN Bypass are supported for Ingenico devices using RBA 21 or above.
  • Support added for PreAuthByRecordNo to start a new PreAuth using a token.
  • Support is added for Telecheck ECA Full MICR and ID.
  • Store and Forward is added. This is an optional feature that must be enabled via PSCS and requires integration changes.
  • Local Batch Reporting data storage is added. This is an optional feature that must be enabled via PSCS. Data can be viewed using the Local Batch Report Viewer.
  • Pay At The Table is added. This is an optional feature that must be enabled via PSCS and requires integration changes.
