Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for NETePay supporting a variety of EMV-enabled hardware options.

Release notes for v1.56

  • Support is added for the following IDTech devices.
    • Augusta for First Data Rapid Connect with TDES DUKPT PAN encryption.
    • SecureHead MSR for First Data Rapid Connect with TDES DUKPT PAN encryption.
    • VP3300 for First Data Rapid Connect with TDES DUKPT PAN encryption.
    • VP8300 for First Data Rapid Connect with TDES DUKPT PAN encryption.
  • A specific Secure Device value is now exposed for the Verifone Vx805 for Mercury running XPI version 12. This is done as part of the device restructuring within dsiEMVUS. The Secure Device value is EMV_VX805_12_MERCURY. The Secure Device value EMV_VX805_MERCURY can still be used for a Vx805 running XPI 8.42b or XPI 12 for Mercury (Worldpay IP).
  • The IDTech VP3300 Cancel request XML response message is fixed.
  • IDTech VP3300 contactless setting changes are included specific to Mastercard PayPass.
  • A new XML field <DirectMktInvoiceNo> is supported. This field is used specifically for Portico Heartland/Global U.S. NETePay as a way to send an Invoice number that is used for Heartland/Global reporting.
  • For Ingenico IP communication, a 200 millisecond delay has been added after a socket close before a new socket connection.
  • For Ingenico devices, the client now looks for a new form called AMTVEX.K3Z. If it finds this new form, then it uses it rather than form AMTV.K3Z. This new form allows the physical enter button to be pressed during amount acknowledgement. The plan is to load this new form using the PIN pad Field Loader or PIN pad loader for distribution.
  • For Ingenico devices, the client now returns a cancel response if a chip card is removed during external AID selection.
  • For Ingenico Tetra devices, a new parameter for setting the mask for contactless card types supported (0008,0023) is set to "1" (Payment Card only). This disables any MiFare card tap.

Step 2 - Install NETePay Paymentech Host EMV - PNH 5.06.11

Release date: 08/14/2017

A new “EMV Cardholder Verification” parameter is added to this NETePay where the choices are “All CVMs”, “Signature” or “None”. “All CVMs” is the default on PSCS and includes Online PIN, Offline PIN, Signature and No CVM. This setting in NETePay determines the “EMV Terminal Capabilities” setting stored in the PIN pad during an EMV Param Download operation. If this parameter is changed in NETePay, then an EMV Parameter Download should be run at each workstation where a PIN pad is attached.

New build released 11/30/17 - Changes made to Data Entry Source values sent on requests where EMV Support is set to "None". This corrects a data integrity issue noticed by Mastercard.
