Release notes for v1.19

  • EMV certification was completed for Vantiv Integrated/Mercury supporting Ingenico attended PIN pads using RBA 21.0.2 and kernel 0526 and includes support for EMV Debit. Quick chip is supported using Ingenico RBA 21 or above. The latest released version of Mercury in-store NETePay (5.07.20 or above) is required to support EMV Debit.
  • Support is added for IncrementalAuthByRecordNo and PartialReversalByRecordNo for Vantiv Integrated/Mercury. These transactions will be supported as part of a future release of the in-store Vantiv Integrated / Mercury in-store NETePay. The EMV US Client Test app now includes buttons for these transactions. A dialog box prompts for the Original Auth amount, the Last Authorized amount and the Increment (or Decrement) Amount. These transactions are also supported via dsiPDCX (v1.50 or above) and DSIClientX (all versions) direct to the Mercury Multi-Merchant server.
  • EMV certification is nearly completed for Heartland supporting IDTech devices (just waiting on Amex and the cert letter). The Augusta device supports chip and MSR, no PIN entry. The IDTech MiniSmart II device uses the same EMV kernel and is included in the same certification. The MiniSmart II supports chip only and must be paired with an IDTech SecureHead MSR. All of these devices support a USB/HID interface and AES DUKPT P2PE. Because these devices do not include a display by default status dialogs are on the POS. Alternately integration changes can be made to return display message to the POS application. This integration change is detailed in the dsiEMVUS ID Tech Addendum. The next version of Heartland Portico NETePay will be released which is required for IDTech devices. The following includes vendor ID and product ID for the supported IDTech USB devices used for Heartland.
    • ID TECH Augusta (USB HID, VID=0ACD, PID=3820, Heartland Specific Part Number=TBD)
    • ID TECH MiniSmart II (USB HID, VID=0ACD, PID=3410, Part Number=TBD) with ID TECH SecureHead (USB HID ID TECH Structure, VID=0ACD, PID=2010, Part Number=TBD) companion MSR
  • Ingenico iSMP4 and iWL258 devices are supported for Heartland with Voltage P2PE.
  • Support is added for an ISV to programmatically cancel a transaction. The EMV US Client Test app now displays a Cancel button during a transaction when using dsiEMVUS. Similar functionality was previously added to the Tran US EMV client app.
  • A fix is added for Ingenico Quick Chip transactions that result in an Offline Decline.

dsiPDCX® 1.50

Release date: 10/25/2017

Datacap’s out-of-scope ActiveX control for NETePay and GIFTePay software that supports dozens of plug and play hardware options, including PIN Pads, Mag stripe readers, all-in-one touch terminals and contactless readers.

Release notes for v1.50

Change for Vantiv TDES DUKPT P2PE manual entry on Ingenico devices. Manual entry for P2PE on Ingenico requires CVV data input for Vantiv. CVV data is included in the encrypted card data. If the operator does not want to enter CVV data, then he/she must enter "000" as CVV Data. dsiEMVUS 1.18 supports manual entry in the same way for Vantiv TDES DUKPT P2PE. This is also true for Ingenico with Mercury. However, CVV data is sent separate and clear for First Data, BluePay, Monetary, Heartland and TSYS.

Release date: 05/18/2017

  • Support for eCommerce merchant category
  • Support for a new Adjust transaction is added
    • The new Adjust transaction is used to adjust the purchase amount downward after the original Sale. The trigger for the new Adjust transaction is the <OriginalAuthorized> amount tag. If an Adjust (or AdjustByRecordNo) transaction includes the <OriginalAuthorized> amount and the total amount is less than the original authorized amount, then the new TSYS Adjustment transaction is performed to adjust the transaction amount downward. Without the <OriginalAuthorized> amount tag, an Adjust transaction will simply adjust the TIP amount as for previous releases.
  • Support for Pay At The Table (PATT) server (This functionality is currently only available via closed beta)
