Release notes for v1.28

  • Support is added for the Verifone Vx805 running XPI 12.11.35 for Worldpay IP (Mercury). This XPI version supports TDES DUKPT data variant E2EE. There is no new SecureDevice value for this device. The same value is used whether using XPI 8.42b or XPI 12.11.35 (EMV_VX805_MERCURY). dsiEMVUS automatically determines the XPI version and adjusts accordingly. Worldpay IP completed EMV brand certification. With the XPI 12 application, the Vx805 supports EMV credit and debit including VISA, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, JCB and China Union Pay. It supports EMV contact and EMV contactless. It also supports PIN bypass.
  • Support is added for a cash back limit when prompting for a cash back amount on Ingenico devices. The ISV should supply the new tag with a dollar value, i.e. 75.00, to limit the amount entered by the cardholder. The EMV US Client Test app automatically supplies a value of $50 when prompting for a Cash Back amount.
  • Support is added for a new tag . New ISVs should include this tag with the name of their POS package and version where the name and version are separated with a colon (“:”). This field will pass through to the NETePay where it will be included in logs. The EMV US Client Test app now automatically sends this new tag with the app name and version.
